Pastel Omen (Story/Art)

Nicknamed Pastel by other Caelori. Usually fairly happy and upbeat, while still sarcastic. Tries to make the most out of life without going over-the-top on anything.

Wings beat in unison, almost like music, as the blur of purples and pinks dashed through the forest, leaving a cloud of mist in its wake. The wind it left behind nearly knocked a few trees to the ground, but the cat-like creature still managed to come to a complete and sudden stop at the edge of the woods. Laughing as she tumbled to the ground, the Caelori looked back on her trail of mist, admiring how far back it stretched as it gradually faded into nothing.

"That was fun", she thought to herself. "I should do that more often."

And she knew she would, if she had the chance to, anyways.
She hardly ever got to be away from the other Caelori, and while it was fun playing games with them or looking for loving owners, it was good to have time to herself once in a while.

She floated into the center of the forest clearing, the nearly-opaque trail that followed her before was now barely visible as she curled up in a spot under the sun.

Peering up at the sky, she smiled.

It was nice to be here on earth.
